Acquisition of the French company Composite Industrie

Hutchinson has acquired the French company Composite Industrie on last September, 9th. 

This company based in Bondoufle, in the Paris Region, and also has a production unit in Casablanca, Morocco. Composite Industrie is specialized in designing, qualifying and producing composite products serving the aerospace and defense markets.

Composite Industrie is a global supplier for cockpits and cabin interiors, including the cockpit for the recent A350 XWB, as well as air conditioning pipe systems for a number of Airbus programs. It manufactures a very wide range of composite products for other clients, including Dassault Aviation, ATR, Airbus Helicopters and Safran. Alongside this, it is a key operator for aerospace maintenance and repairs.

This acquisition has been completed against a backdrop of strong growth in Hutchinson’s aerospace business and will enable it to further strengthen the deployment of composite technologies in this sector.
