- Consolidating the After-Sales Service offer on a single site which brings together all service, maintenance, repair and spare part distribution activities
- Increasing proximity with the aerospace industry players sited nearby to provide them with optimum support as air traffic takes off again
Helene Moreau-Leroy, Chief Executive Officer of Hutchinson, and Philippe Olivier, Senior EVP Aerospace, Defense & Industry, opened the new One Blagnac site today in the presence of Joseph Carles, Mayor of Blagnac.
This new center provides a response to the growth in after-sales service activity (Spares and MRO [Maintenance, Repair, Overhaul]) and allows customers to be supported more effectively for their part maintenance or repair needs. The site covers three areas of expertise with:
- An engineering and design office
- A sales office
- A repair workshop and a spare part distribution center approved by airworthiness authorities such as EASA, the FAA or the CAAC.
Norbert Langlois, EVP Hutchinson Aerospace Services: “Hutchinson Aerospace Services groups together and develops all the After-Sales Service activities (Spare Parts, Maintenance, Repair and Servicing) not only for products designed and manufactured by Hutchinson but also on a host of other products, thanks to know-how and experience acquired over the years. Hutchinson Aerospace Services has PART 145 approval for repairs and DOA (Design Organization Approval) for design which allows it to design and guarantee the airworthiness of products in the field of Cabins, Engines or Aerostructure. The Blagnac site is part of the global network of Service Centers located across the US, China and South East Asia".
