Major aerospace firms rely on our innovations to reduce cabin noise, provide fire resistance up to 1,100°C and deliver main airplane sub-structures, while enhancing passenger safety and comfort. Our solutions for the energies industry include Hutchinson Triplex^®, used on LNG tanks to provide a secondary barrier resistant to dynamic fatigue and mechanical stress at -160°C. All materials are formulated using extensive in-house simulation and testing facilities, analyzing acoustics, fire, mechanical and chemical. For the defense industry, Hutchinson offers a wide range of solutions to guarantee the protection of teams and equipment.

Hutchinson has also built on its expertise to develop materials to protect against thermal runaway propagation in Li-ion battery packs. Two families of solutions have been specifically developed: Blast Shields/Heat Shields and Intercell Compression Pads.
