At the end of 2016, a new corporate sponsorship agreement was signed, with this event attended by Jacques Maigné, Hutchinson's Chairman and CEO, Frank Debouck, Director of École Centrale de Lyon, and Bernard Belletante, Director of EM Lyon business school.
This new chair- “We make it possible2.0”- will help drive further progress with the joint review processes and innovations thought up by Hutchinson’s managers and the students. Feedback from teaching staff has confirmed that this innovative approach is already delivering benefits, including for international projects. Covering a two-year period, this chair, confirms Hutchinson’s position as one of the school’s leading sponsors.
Hutchinson develops a sense of innovation and creativity among its managers and executives. This ambition, driving the entire organization forward,is based around a single tagline:“we make it possible”.This approach is supported in particular by an iconic site, a key part of the Group’s history, the 507 Fab House, a space for reflecting, training and creating.
École Centrale de Lyon, in conjunction with EM Lyon business school, is developing methods for creativity, leading to innovations that are feasible, desirable and viable. By bringing together managers, engineering students and teachers-researchers around applied design thinking for concrete issues facing the company, all these stakeholders are benefiting from a very useful cross-fertilizationapproach.
