Hutchinson has acquired the French company Composite Industrie on last September, 9th. This company based in Bondoufle, in the Paris Region, and also has a production unit in Casablanca, Morocco. Composite Industrie is specialized in designing, qualifying and producing composite products serving the aerospace and defense markets.
Composite Industrie is a global supplier for cockpits and cabin interiors, including the cockpit for the recent A350 XWB, as well as air conditioning pipe systems for a number of Airbus programs. It manufactures a very wide range of composite products for other customers, including Dassault Aviation, ATR, Airbus Helicopters and Safran. Alongside this, it is a key operator for aerospace maintenance and repairs.
This acquisition has been completed against a backdrop of strong growth in Hutchinson’s aerospace business and will enable it to further strengthen the deployment of composite technologies in this sector.
