The team of students from Michigan University finished 9th out of 25 in the electric Formula 1 final (FSAE – Formula Society of Automotive Engineers) in Lincoln (Nebraska, USA).
The students had designed and produced the vehicle used during the race themselves. Over a period of two and a half months they carried out more than 20 tests per day to measure the car’s reliability and performance and successfully went through all the technical control steps prior to the race.
