For the first time, Toyota will be including Hutchinson's encapsulated windows on one of its vehicles.
From 2012 to 2016, advanced research, analysis and development work was carried out by Hutchinson to offer solutions adapted to Toyota. These studies helped to demonstrate the ease of assembly, the savings in terms of weight and the improved acoustic performance of encapsulated glass. This technology produced in France can now be found aboard the new Yaris Cross released in July 2021.
Hutchinson obtained this partnership thanks to its advanced research, know-how and technology.
