Hutchinson has become a partner of the WIMS2 Center (acronym for Wireless Integrated MicroSensing and Systems), affiliated with the University of Michigan (ranked as one of the top 15 American universities with an enrollment of nearly 44,000 students).
The WIMS2 mission consists of advancing the research, development and applications of sensor-activated microsystems through fundamental research, training and industry collaborations.
The main objective therefore is to transfer technologies to the industrial world, with this process comprising 3 steps:
This partnership thus provides the occasion for Hutchinson to seek out future talents while pursuing projects that lie within the “future mobility” innovation strategy adopted by Hutchinson!
