On Friday November 6, Hutchinson’s new Wuhan plant was inaugurated during a ceremony attended by Mr Li Lin, Vice Director of the Economic Area, and Mr Philippe Martinet, French Consul. The Wuhan plant’s total space has been doubled, with 14,000 sq.m of buildings created since 2013. Our low and high-pressure fluid transfer and body sealing systems activities are now able to benefit from more functional offices and production units, significantly improving working conditions for the site’s 1,000 employees. Production and circulation flows have been rethought to improve operational performance and safety. In the past few months, customers visiting the site have been very satisfied to discover our additional capacities, as well as the operational improvements and the investments made in new testing and production equipment.
