Our Belt Drive Systems activity has developed the smartphone application Easy Tension. This app makes it possible to measure the frequency and tension of Hutchinson belts (Flexonic®, Poly V®, Conveyxonic®, HPP™, etc.) using your smartphone microphone.
It can be used when:
- Setting up a new belt
- Replacing a belt
- Simply checking the tension of current drive systems.
It is essential to adjust belts to the right tension to optimize the power transmission lifetime. This free app is available in seven languages (English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Chinese, Russian) on the Apple store and Google Play store. It will enable Hutchinson to further strengthen its presence in these stores following its Conveyxonic® Wizard app.
